Hi. My name is Scott Stacey and I am a 59 year old Cert IV qualified Personal Trainer and Running Coach who loves to run and hike in the great outdoors.
I am devoted to a lifestyle that maximizes my health, fitness and happiness…… but I haven’t always been this way. My story, like so many, was that of the classic work-a-holic who devoted his life to someone else’s benefit, working 12 hour days, surviving on cigarettes, coffee and a poor diet.
At 38 years of age I had moment of clarity. I was literally on the ground gasping for air thinking “why haven’t I made a will” after a 5 minute run. For a guy who was super fit as a teenager and avant sports fan, I couldnt run 5 minutes. I had to change!
Over the years since I have stopped smoking, changed my diet, lost 30% of my body weight, run several half marathons. I have found an activity that my wife and I love doing together and been an inspiration to my kids. It was not easy, in fact it was a hell of a lot of hard work but the reward has been amazing.
I know what it takes to change my lifestyle to be fit, healthy and happy. I would be honoured to utilize some of my experience to help you be the best you can be.
